IT help and textbooks

 Does any school have a system with barcodes, etc which is not OASIS, for faculty text books loan and return?  Please contact me if you know of any possibilities (I will post a HIT if we get replies).
I have just contacted IT Help and requested that they set up ?OASIS Text Books? or whatever they want to call it.  This would be separate to Library, and each Faculty would have their own section with their own login.  The only details required for these text books is their Title, barcode (and maybe cost), so it is much simpler than Library OASIS.  This would allow each faculty to loan and return their own books, print out lists for overdues, and have a proper record to access for leavers to see if they have overdues.
 If others think this would be useful in their school, could you please also contact IT help and request this feature?  I figure if it is only me, they will probably ignore the request, but if lots of school request this, maybe they will develop a suitable system.  If you do, could you please drop me a quick note, so I know if this may happen (or not).
